Program Increment (PI) Planning is a cadence-based event that serves as the heartbeat of the Agile Release Train (ART), aligning all the teams on the ART to a shared mission and Vision. For each ART, time will be devoted up-front to prepare and plan for the Program Increment (PI) planning event, including building the Program Backlog, Vision & Roadmap, identifying those who will fill program roles, finalizing the teams and team members, scheduling key dates, etc.,
